It is birthday week here in Chez Magnetobold, albeit a little more sedate than usual.
That is probably why I am out of sorts.
That and random illnesses and Boo being a fucking butthead at school.
And a fucking SPIDER IN MY HAIR.
So as I prepare for 3 birthdays in 4 days I thought I would share the soundtrack of Birthday Week 2013, courtesy of Boo (who has this on motherfucking loop)
Evolution of Get Lucky. My favourite is 1940’s. Except when Boo is air-guitaring to the 70’s and that takes all of the LOL’s.
What song is eating away at your brain right now? Perhaps I can get Boo to add it to the mix.
P.S. It is better than the year he had ‘They are coming to take me away‘. They nearly fucking did.

John Jacob Jingle… (need I say more) Arrrrgh. /hair pulling/ My middle child girl started this the other night and it comes back no matter what I do to knock it aside. I think what started that was the movie “Rocketman” where Harland Williams sings this in a high energy attempt to stay alert. I even tried to knock this out of my head with the Disney Jingle…. “It’s a small world after all….. ” but John Jacob is a bit zingier so it stuck. I also have the cup song in my head. It doesn’t help that it’s my daughter’s ring tone on her Phone. Hey…. Happy Birthdayz to everyone who has birthdays and a happy everyday to you who makes life feel like everyday is a birthday!!!! ((((hugs)))))
Hang in there, sweetness!!
((((HUGS)))))
Listening to that shizz has totally cleared my head of any and all ear worms.
Thank you, Kelley!
“Out of My League” Fitz and the Tantrums, it is adorable when my daughter warbles the “ooooh oooh, oooh ooo-ooooh” part.

Wait, did the I get the number of “oooh’s” right?
And, a little less bouncy. Well, a LOT less bouncy, “Summertime Sadness” by Lana Del Rey.
What does the fox say??
damn you to hell.
;P
Sending you HEAPS of {{{hugs}}} – I hope today is a better day for you !

That’s…………….interesting….not what I usually listen to.
I’m 150% positive you don’t want my current ear worm in the mix.
John Denver’s Grandma’s Feather Bed.
I have no idea why it is in my head, but it won’t leave.
Grrrr!
It’s birthday week here too, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Lovely! Hope you have a wonderful bacon margarita festival.
The song I have stuck in my head is one of the end songs from a True Blood episode – there is a different song every episode that has the same name as the episode. This song is from the one where Mary Ann hosted the giant orgy and all the townspeople’s eyes went black. The song is called Cluster Fuck. But! This is the only song that was written for the show, and there is no recording of it. Not on You Tube, not on any True Blood fan site, no where. The forums are full of Trubies complaining about it.
Do you know how irritating it is to have a half remembered song tantalising you with snippets of lyrics, and there is no way to scratch that itch? It’s mental!!!
xx
Happy Birthing day to me.
Times 2.
And now I must know this song.
