Every things alright, yes every things fine.

by Kelley

in tiny pieces of my mind, whiney mcwhinerson

In 1992 MPS’s mother babysat a baby Emo so we could jump on a bus from Shepparton, where we were living at the time, to see the live stageshow of Jesus Christ Superstar in the big city.

And it was fucking awesome.

I haven’t heard the soundtrack in years but heard this song on Friday and again today in a shoe store.

And I haven’t been able to get it out of my head.

I am seeing it as a sign that everything is alright.

And everything is fine.

Strange isn’t it how in the darkest of moments a song will come to mind and stay with you. Was the same when my grandma past a few years ago a song called “I think i Like it here” for around a week kept coming up on the iPod. Little signs are a good thing. Sending good thoughts and vibes your way.

Simple Plans ‘Untitled’ was playing on loop in my head while I sat with my Nanna as I watched her die.

That shit is fucked up.

It’s wonderful how a particular song at the right moment can boost your spirits and put a smile on your face and hope in your heart.
I wish nothing but the very best for you from now on.

It’s the universe telling you John Farnham doesn’t have long locks anymore but he’s still The Voice.

Lets just pretend he is not in it.

I’m sure it is a sign, and a good one.
Lately I can’t stop singing ‘My love, She don’t need diamonds’ which is a pain in the arse because I am planning on winning lotto soon, and clearly the universe has other plans. *fingers in ears* Not listening! Lalalalalalal!

I was transfixed.

And actually learned shit. Cause previously I was all ‘there was this dude that died and then we got chocolate’

We watched this a few weekends ago, it was on one of the movie channels. I have always loved the soundtrack but somehow drifted away from it. My 20 year old daughter watched it with us and was disturbed by her unpure thoughts about Jesus.
