Please send all your love to one of the most truly beautiful and caring people on the internet, my friend Susan aka WhyMommy aka Toddler Planet.
I could never give her amazing story justice so you need to go over there and read all about her awesome self.
Scientist. Teacher. Dreamer. Advocate. Awesome mother and wife.
My first American friend, she made me feel special and wonderful as I wandered around the blog world in a daze. Giving me my very first bloggy award that I totally lost my shit over and was smiling for days.
She wrote a guest post for me that was a testament to the awesomeness of friendship over the internet.
My friend just entered hospice after many years of kicking cancers fucking arse and rising with a HUZZAH!
I know after I hit publish I will find all the words that escape me right now to express how amazing she is, but right now I am at a loss.
Let just a few of the thousands of people her words and actions have touched over the years say it much better than I ever could:
My small insignificant contribution is around 7.20 or so
Let us all join together and send my friend all our strength right now.
I shall sit under the tree in my backyard and raise a toast to you my love, just like we always said we would.

Beautifully said, Kelley. Hugs, friends. And love for Susan.
Sending prayers and thoughts for Susan.
Sending all my love to Susan. xo
No words… (literally in fact, I think I sent my page in too late, hopefully they’ll forward on the stragglers so Susan can continue to see how very loved and cherished and valued she is.)
Prayers and thoughts…
Life is sucky. You made a fabbo friend and you love her. Life does move on but Susan has a piece of you inside her heart as you do in yours from Susan. Much love K & gentle breezes to enfold your friend on her journey…….. Xxx
She’s so awesome. So are you.
(I sent a photo in for that video; it’s there but it was expurgated! Hah! It’s the picture that’s my FB profile picture right now.)
I read her post and cried so much. There has to be a preventative or a cure for cancer that Big Pharma and the FDA are holding out on to make money…. Keep vigilant… we may find it ourselves. My thoughts and love to Susan
Hugs. Loads of them.
