Happy Halloween. I got a tattoo. As you do.

by Kelley

in Autism,awwwwwwwwwwwwww

Those that have been following along would remember that, Moo had an unusual request for her birthday.

That I get a tattoo with her. {click on the link to get the back story and reason behind the design}

Today was the day.

While I was at work she mopped the floors after the Party of Epic Awesomeness and then we went out for Tapas.

Which was awesome.

And then the looooooooong drive to the next town, the looooooooooooong wait for the tattooist to draw the outline and then the looooooooooooong walk to the chair.

I went first.

So I didn’t chicken out Cause I am hardcore.

Then Moo.

Here we are, all Laura Palmer {name that show!}

And then a couple of hours later.

Mother and Daughter.

Bonded in ink.

A symbolic gesture, a conversation starter.

For Boo.

For us.

I am so glad I did it.

It looks great. Love the symbolism. I had a friend who always said she would get the letter ‘W’ on each bum cheek, so when she bent over it said WOW. There is no point to this story. I just thought I’d share.

And I LOVE that I knew instantly that it was Twin Peaks… I usually can’t remember that far back :)
