No, it is the start of National Blog Posting Month where our feed readers explode with OMG I FORGOT TO POST TODAY SO HERE IS A PICTURE OF A KITTY PHEW!
I have numerous issues with this:
I don’t want to read what you had for lunch. Unless it is part of a lawsuit.
I don’t want to have to trawl through hundreds of posts to find the good shit. Your NORMAL posting stuff and not the kitties.
It should be INTERNATIONAL OMG.
Don’t get me started on the new rules of having to sign up with Blogher…
And lastly I don’t want to be reading OMG I FORGOT TO POST TODAY SO HERE IS A PICTURE OF A KITTY PHEW!
Well actually, that is the main thing.
ANYWAY.
Because I am INCLUSIVE and awesome I am giving you all an option.
To NOT post every day in November.
To post whenever you damn well want.
To say to those that are posting endless youtube clips just to keep up

I only ever blog as the mood takes me. …and quite often that seems to be a ranty, venty, why-am-i-surrounded-by-morons type of mood.
Sometimes it may move me to post photos … but usually only ones I took myself and never of kitties (because HELLO – I hate cats).

In November of 2007, I jumped into the last two weeks of NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). It was fun. During December, some idiot, somewhere – honestly, I don’t even remember who it was – decided to institute Blog365 – blog every day for one lap around the Sun. It started on Jan. 1st, 2008.
I’ve blogged every day since.
I’m sorry. I can’t help myself. NaBloMo doesn’t make any difference to me. Nah Blo you? Gladly. But I’m still going to blog every day.

Though, I agree with you. If you’re going to do Nablopomo, at least make an attempt to write something worthwhile each day. Or be like me and post 365 days a year and never say a single worthwhile thing. Consistency is the key.
