Day-um I wish I could have seen his face when he saw the title of this post.
It would have been EPIC.
I have had a play with my Lexapro and discovered that contrary to the advice of my lovely Doctor this shit didn’t give me a little pep, it fucking slowed me down to the point where I deserve a SECOND motherfucking Order of Australia and Sainthood for functioning at all while taking those fuckers in the morning.
And probably a Nobel Peace prize for not killing anyone.
Not that I had the energy to kill anyone but I could have totally given a nasty Chinese Burn some time in the evening.
So now I take it at night, along with my Old Lady Meds™ to prevent the strokage.
And I am sleeping like a baby.
When ‘sleeping like a baby’ means passing out and waking in the morning in the same position I passed out in with the other side of the bed made cause MPS slept on the couch terrified of entering the room after hearing the sound of my snoring reverberating down the hallway.
I have always been a snorer. I choose to believe that I make delicate adorable noises, like a baby sighing or a bunny or Glowless but in reality I am pretty sure that I sound like a Tyrannosaurus with a deviated septum.
So MPS is sleeping in the lounge and I
get the whole bed to myself just like I planned kinda feel a little guilty about it.
Have you ever had this side effect from a change of meds? Will it resolve itself?
Any snoring cures?
Should I record myself and put it to music?
Edited to add: True story. I had my adenoids out when I was four cause MOTY couldn’t stand my snoring. Did fuck all.
