My feedreader is exploding.
Hundreds, thousands, like lots of posts are piling on top of other unread posts…
Posts of crap, full of nothing. But not yours of course, you are awesome.
THAT goes without saying. But I will say it anyway, just in case you are like, sensitive and shit.
So, like last year, I am declaring it Nah Blo Me month. Inter-fucking-national Post When You Damn Well Feel Like It Month.
This month I will post sporadically, as is my way. Every day, once a week, whatever.
When I have something to say.
Won’t you join me?
Please?
Cause otherwise I am gunna have to go all ‘Mark as all read’ on your arses and miss something VITALLY important.

I am 100% with you on this one! The amount of “I have nothing to say but I’m doing NaBloMo so here’s a post blah blah” posts is soooo annoying. Sure, some people might end up doing NaBloMo awesomely, but don’t kid yourself – if you don’t regularly post normally then there’s no way you’ll be able to post at least once every day yet remain interesting (or have something to say!)
Anyway. Rant over. Ha.

Apparently it’s really NaBloPoMo. Anything with such a pooncy name is just *asking* to be banned. I post when I have something to say, with my rough plan being to find that something about twice a week. Whooping cough hasn’t helped me achieve my aim! So rest assured I will not do Bad Things to your feed.

It seems the end of October is a really bad time to travel to the country of limited internet – your reader explodes with posts you can’t access, then NaBloPoMo strikes and it just explodes even more.

But NaBloPoMo (November ‘07) is really where I got my start as a blogger. Before then I was just some schmuck who had no idea what blogging was all about – I was a diarist who thought that all I would do was record my adventures and progress as an artist. Because of NaBloPoMO – I started LouCeeL. Because of NaBloPoMo – I did Blog365 in 2008. Because of NaBloPoMo – I still blog every day. I know I don’t contribute much to the web, overall. But on a personal level, blogging has come to mean a great deal to me – and the people I have come to know, respect, and love (Like you, Your Awesomeness) are very important to me.
I am just one little itsy bitsy cog in the great wheel of the Internet and its blogs. For whatever that’s worth, I wouldn’t be the cog that I am if it had not been for NaBloPoMo.

since i was told off the other day by my mother about posting “crap” to my blog i have gone through and removed posts and have just left photos on there. I go to google reader once a week and click mark all as read. there is usually about 2000 in there a week.. bloglines has well over 50K unread posts i gave up truing to catch up, and find that i read more on FB / Twitter and if something interests me like your posts i go straight to the blog.
