I’m Lou. From LouCeeL. Posting here is an honor, but a difficult one. I don’t know whether I want to be serious or funny, normal or obscene. Well, normal IS obscene, for me, although lately I seem to have lost the edge.
First of all, Kelley is a hard act to follow. She’s only slightly insane and totally fabulous, and I love her dearly. But she is so awesome, as anyone who comes here regularly knows.
Under normal circumstances, I would be snarky, or filthy, but not mean or anything – it’s like I said, Kelley is a hard act to follow. But these are not normal circumstances. Our awesome lioness is wounded, and I don’t know whether to lick her paw or dance on the lion skin rug.
Clearly, choices could be made wrongly here. One could earn her ire with the slightest misstep – or it could just go right over her head. Either way, with the brain burn she’s suffering now, who knows which way that wind is going to blow?
Knowing Kelley as I do, as we all do, loving her as much as we all do, shoes and all, it is not now the time to take advantage and be obscene or rag on someone who is down in her cups. She needs our love and understanding – clearly stated. No hidden messages which she may or may not get – just love, kindness and understanding.

You old coot! First of all, you wrote a wonderful guest post. Under these circumstances, your words are both loving and considerate. Certainly you understand the importance of friendship. Kelley could not have had a better person filling in for her.
